Jasper 400 SBC engine

My car is probably gonna be totalled. My cousin has a 74 El Camino he will let me put down my money on and pay as possible.

The car has the Jasper 400 SBC in it w/ a 350 Tranny behind it. My question is would this be a good transplant combination to a future fboy? Or would it require extensive modifications later?

people do it every day. the jasper engine would be a budget type engine, but it would be a great place to start.
