headers for 85 305tpi

Why do all the headers I see advertised say they wont work on my car? Most I have seen say they only work on 86+. Where can I find a good set of headers?
-thanks

The difference is the 4 bolt flange on the cat. I bought heddmans which have no flange at the end of the Y-pipe, and I bought a 3" dynomax cat with no flanges either. Then it's a normal clamp-on style install, but I lost the use of the hanger that holds the cat up.
