350 intake on 305???

350 intake on 305???

I am wondeirng if I can use a intake off of a 350 on a tbi 305 I am wanting to convert to carb...

there are 2 bolt patterns for SBC intakes, the original design with all the bolt holes at the same angle and the newer design with the center 2 holes closer to vertical and the others in the original position.

What ede is saying is yes you can... if the block and intake are similar in the years. Even if they aren't, you can still make it work by drilling the intake holes to accomodate the different bolt angle. To sum it up, yes a 350 intake will work on a 305. What year engine and what year intake are you planning on using? if the block is older than '87, it will have the different angle than the '87 and up style heads.
