maintenance schedule
I just wanted to know the general rule of thumb mileages for replacing things like air filters, spark plugs, fuel filters, O2 sensors, and things like that for my 89 IROC with L98. I eventually got it to work great and it hasn't given me any problems for a year or more. I want to keep it that way by keeping up with the mainenance. Thanks guys.
I dont have a rule of thumb, but i change them like this:
air filter-K&N just recharge it every 20,000-30,000 miles
spark plugs-every year and a half to two years, platinums
fuel filter-every 15,000 miles
02 sensor- dont know ive ony put one on when i bought my headers, but i am just guessing that if it aint broke then you probably dont need a new one

I replace everything required for a major tuneup once a year, in the spring... yeah, that's overkill.
If you want the major tuneup info, I just posted it here:
