what are are the engine codes??????

uh hi this is my first post im new but i have been reading post in here for about 2 months now and i was just wondering what is an L69 and L88 and stuff like that i wanna know if anyone was info on all gm's codes like that and if they do can i get them? thankx

Engine: built 305
Transmission: 700r-4 shift kit
you could just get a diagnostics peice from auto zone im pretty sure that just displays whats wrong. i dunno about the codes though. by the way what part of utah are you from.

He means RPO codes not ECM fault codes.

On the first page to this site is an RPO decoder, put the number in and it tells you what it means.
