Engine: Carbed 5.7

Transmission: TKO-600

v-8 oil capacity

ok guys i had a 305 tbi motor in my car and now i have a 350 carbed motor and the oil pan i used the identical to the one of the 305 but my dipstick got hacked so i had to buy a new one, now i figured 5 quarts so i filled it up with 5 quarts and marked where it was on the dipstick. now is this the correct amount of oil for a 89 tbi pan i guess u could say?? or is it 4? thanks. also what woudl having an extra quart in it do??
