Where can I get a set of T-Top keys?

When I bought the car, the owner did not have the keys to lock and unlock the t-tops. So where can I go and get a set? Its for an 86 T/A T-Tops.

You might get lucky at a GM dealer, but considering the age of the car I doubt it. Looks like an expensive trip to a locksmith ! Just for your info; I had never had a key for my 87 T/A's doors. Locksmith said if he had to come to my location to make a key it would be 125.00 . but if I took out the lock cylinder myself and brought it to his shop it would be 25.00 to have the key made. Guess which route I took !! BTW....the GM dealership couldn't help me either. Good Luck !

The top lock cylinders should match the doors, rear hatch, and the compartment in the left side of the rear cargo well. If not, check them all. You might be better off getting an entire new set of lock cylinders and spending your weekend changing them out.

Like the Yank said, a locksmith is going to be a lot more able to help than a dealership service department. I'll bet they don't even have a key gun or pin shim set.

There's a chance you might get lucky if you try some other GM keys in the locks. It turns out I was able to use the door key for an 87 Cutlass to lock the T-tops on my SC...when it was alive.

take it to a lock smith and he can make you a key. i use to do it all the time with door ***** for rental houses. shouldnt cost you more than 20 bucks.
