Hi Vader,

I was wondering if you could help with my problem, I recently purchased a ATI procharger kit and have a wiring question for you, In the manual it says "locate the three relays on the driver side of the firewall. The outer two relays control the electric fans, Using the supplied wires and electrical T's, ground the green wire on the center relay and the white wire on the outer relay......"
O.K. here's my problem, I have different colored wires...the center relay wires are, BLUE, ORANGE, RED, BLACK w/ white stripe, and TAN w/ white stripe,...the outer relay wires are BLACK, BLUE, and two ORANGE,

And help would be very much appreciated!!!
thanks in advance,

Maniacc,

I don't have good schematics for Camaros, just Firebirds. The instructions you have are apparently telling you to wire the fan relays so the fans are on at all times. Any idea why this would be desireable with an axial compressor? I'm guessing they are trying to establish maximum air flow under the hood to cool the charger, but an aftercooler would probably be more effective.

Thanks anyway Vader,

I'm pretty sure that you are right about trying to get all the heat out of the engine compartment...the s/c picks up it's intake air just above the left valve cover...well i guess its back to the phone and call ATI and really see what is trying too be accomplished with the fans...

btw...89prochargedz and myself are the first 3rd gen owners to get the new D1sc kits...check out my website for some pics of the unit.....just posted them two weeks ago...

and again, thanks for the reply...
