I know this may sound silly, but have you checked to see if the required 12V are getting to the lights back there? Not trying to offend, I know I personally have gone mad looking for the solution to a problem and forgot to check the simplest thing. You may also have a bad ground. If you haven't checked those two things, that's where I'd look. If you go by the dealer they will usually print you up a copy of the wiring diagram if you don't have one already.
You may want to swallow your pirde and let someone find it for you. A couple of years ago, my IROC was blowing the fuse for everything on a 12V constant from the battery. My dad and I both looked high and low for the problem. We couldn't find anything. I finally just spent the $70 bucks and let GM find it for me. It turned out to be the cigarette lighter was shorting out. I unplugged it, and everything works fine since. If you're like me you don't like anyone working on your car and money can be tight at times, but I just got so damn frustrated I had to let someone else deal with it. It got to be pain in the **** to have to reset my radio and everything when I drove the car.
Sorry I couldn't help more, but electrical gremlins are definitely a PITA to track down usually.
Good Luck,
Jason
