Will the Summit Chevy 350 engine kit work on an 89 TPI 5.7 L motor????
Will the Summit Chevy 350 engine kit work on an 89 TPI 5.7 L motor? The kit in the catalog that is right next to the page with the huge table of rebuild-kits. There is nothing on there for the different years. Will it work on this motor? Thanks.

Yah, it looks like it will, since it says call for years... Gotta make sure you get the 89 kit for a roller cam engine with a one-piece rear main seal.

Some of there gaskets suck. For instance, the oil pan gasket is the cork type as well as the valve cover gaskets. The bearings, rings and oil pump are just fine though.
