Whats it worth?
I am going to the track on Sept. 20.My question is I already have
a list of things to do,(fix exhaust leak,fix header leak,change all
the fluids etc.)Is it worth it to swap in a Dart Sportsman II intake
in place of an Edelbrock Performer.Here is the set-up.350 with
Dart Sportsman II heads,9.5:1 compression,Crane cam (.454,
216@50int, .480,228@50exh.)750 Holley,Shorty headers and true duals.What am I really giving up by running the performer.
You see I can`t run the intake without changing the hood and
the hood requires modification that makes it tight for my schedule.
If I am going to shift below 6000rpm should I just run the Performer?

How tall is that new intake? My Holley street dominator was pretty tall but fit with a drop base. I don't have to worry about hood clearance anymore. I've got a nice 3'' cervini's cowl sitting ontop of the front end now
