Headlights, fog lights, dash lights, do not work.
Brake lights, reverse lights, and blinkers DO work.

Besides the switch...what could it be?

What exactly is the "fusible link"? From the starter, where can I find it?

There are 4 red wires that run under my exhaust headers into one of those plastic tubes. There is some melted duct tape, and some exposed wire. Could that be the problem?

I can take the switch out of my other car just to check...but what about the fusible link (?) and the red wires? Possible causes...?


B/w the rain and stupid problems with my car when there isn't rain, I've been pretty grumpy lately when it comes to racing. Haven't had the opportunity

There should be two small wires that hook to the remote terminal on the starter. One of those is the wire you are looking for. If it becomes disconnected or frayed like yours nothing works. Especially if it is grounding out. Mine did it because I put in a mini starter and the wire was grounding to the frame. Moved the wire and it worked. The other wire just hangs there. Don't know what it goes to. Maybe an old one that was left there when it was replaced, can't remember.
