LT1 and TPI

Are LT1 fuel injectors the same as the fuel injectors for TPI?? Will they work on TPI??
I am wondering because i have a magazine that sell 24# LT1 fuel injectors for $200 and i need injectors anyway and i think its a lot cheaper than TPI injectors.(not sure though

One more thing
what size fuel pump would you recommend for a 355 with a little over 350 hp and 24# injectors
thanks in advance

I beleive they will. And for that matter, at that price get Ford SVO 24# injectors. They are rated at 24# as tested with lower line pressure and therefore are capable of about 27# as rated by GM standards if my math is right.

CK,

The injectors are different. The Bosch injectors are a little longer, but I'm not sure if that prevents you from using the LT1 injectors on the TPIs. You'd have to measure. I don't have spares for either of mine, and I never got dimensions when they were out.

You might try calling Rich at Cruzin' Performance. He probably has a sample of each type lying around to measure. I do know that the valve designs changed, but that shouldn't make any difference as far as the fuel delivery goes.

I used 94 24lbs LT1 injectors in my TPI setup, no problems on the fit. But I ran very rich at WOT, and had to switch to 22lbs. Since the SVO injectors are rated at a lower pressure, I would only get them if you really needed the extra fuel, or you can burn custom PROMs to reduce the fuel. Otherwise you're going to run rich all the time.
