What would be better for a 355? I'm wanting to have about 9.5:1 static compression. Would there be any advantage of one over the other as far as combustion efficiency?

dished pistons seem to be more in favor now and deeemd the better design, as long as you can get the compression you want. next engine i build would have small chamber heads and dished pistons.

Even at standard deck height with a .035 compressed thick head gasket a .03 over flat top with 5cc of valve relief will make 9.9:1.
