loud whistling near pass side intake after running under load car stalls out??
the car is a 1992 bird with v-6 tbi, idles great all day, put it under a load, and it starts losing all power and whistling on the iontake near the passengers side , and stalls out. Will not re-start easily, and have to slam into drive to get it to go .
after cooldown it starts and idles all day, but under a load whistles and dies after 2 minutes of running,,
Is there a common sensor or vac line in that area that is losing vac?, is this a common bird prob?

The whistling is coming from the EGR valve. Either it is defective (not likely), or the catalytic converter is clogged (more likely) forcing exhaust to find a leak up there somewhere.
