Ticking From My Gauges?
Hey I just finally had my car out for a good run. I noticed when I put the accelerator down to a certain point, I hear a funny clicking noise. I think its coming from the tach but Im not sure. Anyone have any ideas what this could be???

It might be the speedometer cable, they will make a clicking or grinding noise when they need lubricated. It may also bounce around at different speeds. Try greasing up the speedo cable.

If it was a speedo cable wouldnt it click all the time, not just when I have the accelerator pressed down to a certain level? If it is the cable, is it a difficult job to take it out and grease it up???
