stock vaccum advance, with edelbrock 1406 carb and performer 2101 manifold

as long as you have a carb on the car right now I don't see you runnin into any problems.

As long as it's not the stock computer controlled HEI distributor you can use it with an aftermarket carb. in fact, if you go non-computer controlled on one (carb or distributor) you should always go non-computer controlled on the other.
