Code 45 (O2 rich) and now car won't start!

I installed a new Carter street pump the other day and now the car has a tendency to not want to re-start. And it threw up a code 45 (rich oxygen sensor). I also smell it is running rich. It did this the other day too and wouldn't start until the next day. My pressure gauge is reading 7psi too...

Any ideas what is going on?

Bio,

What carb are you running? Some carbs won't tolerate over 5 PSI at the inlet needle/seat without the fuel pressure overcoming the valve and flooding the bowl.

Yeah, definatly sounds like a flooding problem.

Well, it is/was a computer controlled Q-jet. I say "was" because I pulled off the base and found something stuck in the little hole just below the slot in the primary bore. On the left side, the hole flows air (through hole and slot)... right is clogged (hole only). I also broke off the two little screws that hold the throttle blade on too. I could get a new base and be fine (maybe), or just get a new 750vac DP! Sonsidering I will spray in the future... I think I need the new carb.
