coolant sensor, fan switch, and oil pressure sender

i need to know what coolant sensor, fan switch, and oil pressure sender, do i use for a zz4 without an ecm.

can i use a fan switch that turns on at a specific temperature, like the ones that are stock?

i want to use my factory oil pressure gauge so what kind of sender unit do i get?

You would use the same temp gage (the one in the driver's side head) & oil pressure senders that you have now. They don't have anything to do with the ECM.

Look up the GM HO 350 Camaro Conversion Kit parts list. It includes the part # for a 95 degree C fan switch that you can get (or order) from the dealer.

hey five7kid, I'm helping him with that motor, isn't the coolant temp sensor in the front of the intake manifold?

That sensor is for the cold start injector (or 9th injector as it is sometimes called).

So we should just leave that one plugged? I thought my 89 had that sensor, didn't the 89 not have a cold start?

The CTS in front of the intake is for the ECM. On pre-89's, that's also where the cold start injector is located...since '89-up doesn't have the cold start injector, only the CTS is there.

The temp sender for the gauge, is located in driverside head between #1 and #3, as five7 previously said, the fans switch is between #6 and #8 on the pass head, as mentioned before.

The Fan Switch can be changed to several different ones, depending on how you want the fans controlled.
