VALVE COVER BREATHERS
I KNOW THERE WAS JUST A ? ON THIS IN HIGH TECH BUT THEY DIDN'T REALLY ANSWER IT,WOULD IT HELP TO REMOVE PCV VALVE AND INSTALL BREATHERS,NO HOT AIR INTO ENGINE AT LOW RPM,AND THE CRANCASE COULD STILL DUMP PRESSURE AT HIGHER RPM WHERE IT CAN'T WITH A PCV VALVE BECAUSE THERES NO VACUUM THEN,

It sucks outside air and it won't heat up the engine. No 'real' advantage in removing the PCV.

Mark,
Depending on your fuel system, you could have problems. The TPI relies on some PCV air to attain the correct mixture at idle and low RPM operation. If you have a MAF, you shoudl never use a breather in the rockers unless you completely eliminate the PCV system.
Eliminating the PCV will probably cause a buildup of varnish, misture, and acid formation in the oil. We old farts that had cars with road draft tubes probably remember the fun that went along with that scheme.

Thanks for the replies,Vader I did want to eliminate the PCV all together,I am having an oil leak problem and don't know if it is pressure in the crankcase at high RPM(only leaks after I really rev the car under load)PCV will not let the crankcase breath at high RPM because there is no vacuum then I think???
