What does this part do?
I was working on my car yesterday, and I'm unsure of what this does. In the picture you cannot see it, but that is the stock location of it. Its a round 2 inch diameter metal piece that seems to have a vacum line coming out of it.

Well, I don't think its in that picture, but I know thats the location of it.

If it's bolted to theintake near the bas of the carb, it's the EGR valve.

what is it hooked up to any clue what its for and try to get a better pic... "RB83L69" could be right it could just be the EGR vavle
