PAW crank kits? Good or bad?
Has anyone had any experience with engine parts from PAW? I'm looking at their Super Stock Crank Kit for a Pontiac 400 I'm putting together. The kit comes with a crank, rods, pistons, bearings and rings. I'd really like to hear from anyone who has used a PAW kit.
Thanks - Jed

I've not purchased from them, but did inquire about a short block assy.
I questioned the overbore and crank grinds...the guy said that the shortblock would most likely be .060 and the crank tuned .020..minimum, and both crank and blocks may have had previous repair.
Soooo, I asked if I could get a 10/10 crank and .030, he said yes, but it could delay shipment several months.
Moral of the story is to ask about the spec's, before you buy.
I don't recall if this was the "super stock" kit...I was just asked about a shortblock assy.
