dart intake
I just used that manifold for a 406. It’s actually made by World Products. It’s the Sportsman, right? Dart and World recently split company so it gets a bit confusing who actually makes what right now.
Anyway, I went with this manifold because my supplier recommended it and I wanted to try a dual plane for this build. My supplier does port work as a main business and sells parts on the side. He likes this intake over the RPM and RPM air gap because he say’s it flows better. It has a notch cut in the plenum divider that aids in high rpm flow. It also has heat cross-over which is preferable for a street engine. The 406 dyno came in at 450 @ 5300 with a very mellow cam 226/236, 114 LSA. I have a more aggressive cam that I’m going to try in a couple weeks. I’m pretty sure the numbers will be around 480 with the different cam and same manifold.
