EGR orfice question.

Ok I replaced my EGR i know I got the right one, but it is kind of universal. My rough idle and ses light are fixed.

When I pulled the egr it didn't have an orfice washer in it, and is a fairly large opening.
It still laks the power I am expecting.

Could it be possible that i need a washer in there to make it run right?

If so, can anyone tell me what size orfice washer to put in there, smaller the better, etc I don't need a number I just need to know if I need to have a washer in there.
If so I'll experiment with some of the ones they gave me. There wasn't a number listed for my year(94 350 TBI)
, and there wasn't one in there ot begin with so I didn't put one in.

I've used the universal EGRs on some TBIs, and many need the orifice washers. There's a good chance that your's doesn't. Time will tell.
