air/fuel guage hookup??

Hey guys i traded a volt guage for an Autometer Phantom air/fuel guage and I don;t know how to hook it up. I don;t have a computer in my car but i am gonan get an O2 sensor like tomorrow. Well there is 3 wires comin out of the guage, Red,Black, and Purple.. Now what wire goes to what?? thanks a bunch guys

Black= Ground
Red= Power
Purple= Signal from the O2 Sensor
