Helping Fellow Thirdgenners with their F-bod problems

Not looking for help or any comments but after so long I just HAVE to make an observation here. Thirdgen has gone down the tubes. I don't care a wit about the NTB being killed - good riddance to a bunch of losers. I fully support the moderators and Dirk for their reasoning behind the change. But for the love of PETE please leave any post in the TECH section IN the tech section. Regardless of whether or not it *should* be on the tranny page or not. Not so many people visit the other smaller pages, and not so many people check out Thirdgen.org anymore period. It is MUCH more conducive to helping out a fellow Thirdgenner and his/her problems if the post is left in the TECH section where more people float in and out and are likely to see the problem. I for one know a LOT about the different sections like audio, electronics, appearance, exhaust, history, motor swap, etc - but rarely if EVER have the time to go through different lists. I and many others just pop on and scan quickly through one list.

I guess all I'm saying is that I think it would be a better policy if, instead of totally closing a post in the General Tech section it were copied to the more specific page. That way it gets better exposure. And remember this IS the *GENERAL* Tech page - anything technical goes right guys?

Now I've never had the problem with my posts being moved so there's no underlying reason for this post. I'm just expressing my thoughts as a member who's been around and loyal since the black and yellow web page days as far back as early '97.

To the moderators - erase this if you must, but please circulate this to the other Mods and/or Dirk for consideration. I feel that it only makes sense since it is the general tech page. Thanks for listening.

Brett
