Water comming out the tail pipe?

Granted, I haven't been driving my car too much for various reasons (batery blew, q-jet crapped out, etc), but when it was running, there was water dripping out the tail pipe. I mean, there was a puddle under the tail pipe after it idled for a little while. No real white smoke or anything, but actual water dripping out the pipe.

Is this just condensation that built up in the pipe? That is what I am thinking, but just want to make sure.

If it was just started up and it was kind of cold out, it's normal. When you first start up and are running rich, there's a fairly large percentage of water in the exhaust.

That is what I figured... and I got a code 45 (rich O2).

Thanks for calming my fears a bit.

If your cat is still on, it will produce water vapor, CO2, and traces of other gasses if it's working properly. Lots of water vapor, first thing in the morning, is normal.
