Cam Plug thing...

Can someone let me know how to get the oversized freeze plug, for the cam, on the back of the block out? I guess you can't just beat it in like freeze plugs because the cam is right there...

glad you got it out, i'll reply in case someone digs this thread up on a search. i drive them in, cam plug would fall right thru or at least into the cam passage to be fished out, or you can drive them out with a long rod

punch in one side with a long screwdriver or a nail driver, so that it turns over, then use pliers to yank it out.
