Anyone ever relocate there heater core shutoff valve?

Im working on dressing up my engine compartment, and i cant decide what to do with it. Any ideas? would i be possible to have it under the dash?

I would keep as much of that under the hood as I could. Those valves are prone to leakage, and can wreak havoc on your interior. Keep it under the hood.

I've considered moving it too, but just more towards the rear of the engine. Other than that, maybe you could hide it under the blower, or the AC receiver/dryer.

I just pitched mine. I ran a line directly from the heater core into the throttle body.

You guys would laugh at me...my old '85 GMC tow truck has no A/C and gets really hot in the summer. So I went to Home Depot, bought an inline water valve (like on the pipes in your basement), and spliced it inline with one of my heater core hoses.
