rpm guage bad
I just replaced my smog pump and reconnected the battery, started the car and now my rpm guage is not working right. Is the guage going bad or what else could be causing this. It doesn't stay steady, bounces around and at times stays at zero. can anyone help!

Check your wiring grounds. Check the TACH connection at the distributor, and make sure the tach wiring is not routed too close to the ignition coil.
