How to connect handheld tach

OK, I got this Actron tach/voltmeter to set the correct minimum air and idle speed but I can't figure out where to connect the green clip. It has a black clip that connects to engine ground, and the green one to the coil, or so the intructions say. They're really ambiguous so i can't figure this out. Can anyone tell me where the green clip hooks up? Thanx in advance.

88,

This terminal should have a "TACH" label on the distributor head.

Doh!!! I looked all over the coil for the TACH terminal. Then I read this post again to find out I should have been looking at the distributor. What color is the TACH terminal wire? Thanks.
