Replaced Fuel pump now what? Desperation is setting in.
Ok- fuel pump is replaced and tank is installed. The pump still won't turn on. I found Tom P's dignostic chart and I think I have a break in circuit 120. Relay is new and I get a light on my tester there, back at the tank I don't get any. If I manually jump the pump I get it to turn on, that is a relief, but where would a common place for failure be? I am paranoid to put the rear suspension back together, and have to tear it out again, but with it working manually I imagine that it's ok. This has been a real pita! Any suggestions?
By the way I suck at wiring problems, I'm a machinist not an electrician.....

Try looking at the 20 amp #2 in-line fuse to see if it has blown. This is the fuse that runs from the fuel pump relay to the ecm. It is in circuit 340. I wire is orange colored and located in the general area of your battery. different years put them in different locations but all are in that general area.

Not yet. I don't want to hack up the harness as of yet. This opinion could change if I don't get anywhere.

Is this the blade type fuse on the fender? That is ok. I even put a new one in just in case.

You don't have to hack up the harness, the fuse that I am talking about is regular 20 amp that you pull out of the holder and replace. On some cars it is mounted behind the headlights near the radiator. on others it mounted near the overflow tank. It will be a black holder attached to an orange wire. inside the holder is the 20 amp fuse.
No hacking involved , remove cover from holder and remove fuse.
Oops!! didn't read whole reply, but to answer your question. Yes, that is the one that I'm talking about. If you are still having problems, I have a wiring diagram that may help you.

SOLVED!
Some previous owner hid a toggle switch under the console to cut the fuel pump out, and one of the wires disconnected.
I put a lot new parts in unnecessarily, but at least I shouldn't have to worry about the fuel system for awhile . I used the switch for a fan switch so all wasn't wasted.

Glad to hear that you found and solved your problem. But look at it this way, you got to see parts of your car you would never normally look at.:hail: :hail: :lala: :lala: :lala: :lala:
