i am thinking about switching from performer intake to performer rpm on a305 600cfm carb elgin cam 220intake 220exhaust .429lift intake and exhaust going to put on a set of 305 torqer heads also have heddman shorty headers and y pipe what will the rpm do that the performer doesnt?

The RPM will flow more. It is designed to work in the 1500-6500 rpm range, while the performer is designed to work in the idle-5500 rpm range. Basically, what rpm range is the rest of your package set up for? The heads I believe are only good to 5000 rpm. Look at the cam manafacture's spec card for its operating range. It does no good not to properly match your parts.
