? about my TPS

If my TPS only goes up to 3.75 does that mean that it's bad and I need a new one?

According to the tech artical on this board, it says it should go to 4.0.

If you are doing this with the engine off you may find it does not go higher. I have Diacom and I noticed that when my engine is off, but the ignition on, that my volts on my TPS would not go to 4.0. But once the engine was running, it hit 4.29 volts.
