Help with radiator

I just replaced the radiator in a 305 TBI with an older rad from another 305 (older) camaro. Only after i put it in i found that it doesn't have a fitting for the heater hose like the original radiator did. Can i just drill a hole into the radiator and squeeze that hose in there?? That's the only thing i can think of.

What you should be able to do is just take off one the side tank and replace it with a new one that will fit. I had to do the same thing. I got the new side tank for $12.50 from a radiator shop, but it was a lot easier than cutting any holes... Another good thing about doing it this way is that it will let you clean and flush the radiator thoroughly...
