List of bolts

Argh! I have a small block 350 that I'm trying to put together, and I keep having to go to Lowes and guess bolt sizes and I don't know how many of what to get. It's so incredibly frustrating. Does anyone know where I can find a list of what all bolts I need to put this thing together? I know they sell complete sets in Summit, but I didn't want to wait for it to get here.

What Parts do you need bolts for? I would order the kit from summit and get the right thread instead of trying to match the tap and thread. However if you insist on getting the bolts from Lowes use a tap to verify the correct thread. Once again order the bolts from Summit. If its a H. P. Engine I would get some ARO Bolts or studs.

Just off the top of my head... I need bolts for...

Rams Horn manifolds
Starter
Carb
Intake
Tranny

I guess it would probably be a good idea to go buy a tap and die set anyway. Just thought if there was a list somewhere online, it would be easier. Thanks.

The Starter, Carb, and Intake bolts can be bought from your local Autozone or Pep Boys for GM SBC.
They might have the tranny bolt or you can take one out and go to Lowes and match the bolt.

you have to use real starter bolts, not hardear store replacements. oil pans is 1/4-20 and 5/16-18, timing cover is 1/4-20, carb studs are 5/16-18. intake is 3/8-16 but tpi is metric i think and don't know size, head, fly wheel, torque converter, and crank all need original spec bolts
