Is this good or bad?

hey guys i have been back and forth about buying a new engine and i want your opinion on this engine. i eventually want to get to the mid 13s and with this engine i plan on buying a full exhaust, 350 injectors, 350 chip, and new water pump, maybe a few other things.

Engine: L69: cam and porting
Transmission: T5, 3.73 rear
Sounds like a standard replacement motor. It will take mods like cam and head porting to go 13s.

Bad if you wanna get into the 13's with just dropping in that. You're gonna have to do some extra stuff. It doesn't even list the hp and tq ratings, or at least I didn't see any right away.

i know im not going to get mid 13s just by dropping that in. i have a 305 now and it has 170,000 miles on the engine. it is still running really strong and in fact it kept up with a newer mustang all the way to 110 and then i slowed down in case of cops. i was going to do a bunch of stuff to my engine but i am afraid it will blow it up. i was thinking get that engine and then save up some money and put new heads and a cam in. right now i just am thinking the old motor wont handle new heads and cam. what do you think i should do?

Those 193 head castings are for a truck ...........


If ya plan on replaceing stuff like the cam ....heads ....intake ......
