dual snorkel

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, 3.23 non-LS
dual snorkel

Does anyone know if an '80 corvette dual snorkel is the same as, or will work on, our 305 (lg4)?

SSC had a post about this a few weeks ago. He got one off of a Vette, I'm not sure he said what year. The spacing between the snorkels was different.

One of the magazines had an article about this. It has to be modified, although the article didn't say how. I don't know why the guy didn't just use the Camaro dual snorkel. Anyway, IROCZDAVE usually has those dual snorkels available. The last time I checked he had one for $100. The ducting is getting hard to find.

That Camaro dual snorkel will bolt right in, although when I installed one on my LG4, I couldn't get the hot air tube to match up because of all the wires and hoses.

The late '70s, early '80s Corvette dual snorkel air cleaners are almost identical to the L69 ones.

If you still have a Qjet on your engine, it should fit fine. If you have some other (ie. Holley) it probably will, but theres a chance it wont.
