Help with codes 12, 22, 33
Hey guys,
This is the first time I've ever tried to check my own trouble codes and this is what I got. I really don't know where to start so any help would be very much appreciated.
I also want to say that this is the best site ever for third generation owners. It's been so much help to me. Thanks to everybody.
Car Specs:
1985 Trans Am
5.0 305 V8
Fuel Injected
If more info is needed just ask.
Thanks to anyone that can give me any help.
Justin

well it would help if you knew the code and what it means.
22. Low voltage at throttle positon sensor OR
Fuel cutoff relay circuit open or shorted to ground
33. High voltage (low vacuum) at mass air flow sensor (or MAP sensor)
12 is a code everyone gets when they scan the ECM ALDL connnector. it just means no refernce pulses to ECM.

I got that far...
yeah.
I got what the codes meant from the FAQ part of the site.
I was just looking for some suggestions on what to try first when trying to fix those problems.
Thanks anyway.
