Ammeter...

I posted this on Electronics, But I cant Seem to get No Love...


Ive got a summit ammeter, and It says to Install it Inline with the Horn Relay, Or junction terminal. Problem is, I cant Find the Damn Horn Relay...
Where is it at?

If its in a Inconveint place, is there any Other method to installing htis Ammeter that would work ?

iwired mine by running awire from the back of the alternator the terminal that says bat.to the gauge and from the other term. on gauge to the battery.be carful when wiringand disconnect the battery till finished or you'll make sparks

For true amp readings you need to measure your whole electrical system. Take the two wires that go to the starter soloniod and run them to the ameter. then run a wire from the ameter to the soloniod where the two wires would normally hook up. Then crank the engine. If the ameter registers a charge, then switch the wires.
