So that you dont have to drop the tank everytime. if so can i get the dimentions to where the fuel pump is located on teh upside thanks
moroso makes a door for fuel cells under the car. you'd have to hack up the car pretty good to get the pump and all the lines out. figure you'll only change the pump once i'd do it right and not hack up my car.

I agree, drop the tank. Don't re-use the stock pulsator unit on the new pump. Either buy a new one, or (preferably) use the hose and self-tightening-clamps that comes with the new pump. Pulsators can leak at their input/outputs because they're only a slip-fit. The hose will seal tight, but you'll hear more noise.

i think it would be best to do it right but i have seen several cars in junkyards that have had the floor area behind the rear seat(lugage area) cut out. ill tell u the best way ive seen. u have to pull the rear seat and back carpet. then from what i remember there are two grooves in the floor there and it was cut using these as templates as for how far back u need to cut im not sure. on the car this was done to they left the 4th(front) edge uncut and just bent it up. you have to be carefull not to cut anything holding gas(fuel tank & lines) since they are close. after your done id have it welded shut unlike the car i saw. o by the way dont use torches to cut the floor since fire and gas are bad when combined. i still recomend doing it right unless the car is a piece of **** u dont care about.
