Difference between the L98 Vette starter and the LT1/LT4 Starter?

Difference between the L98 Vette starter and the LT1/LT4 Starter?
Does anybody know the difference between these starters?
10455702 88-91 L98 Vette
10455709 92-96 LT1/Lt4 Vette
Both are a mini size, gear-reduction style and use the nippondenso motor.
I want the one with the quickest start with a 10.8:1 motor and the best clearance of my Hooker Long tube headers.
