they look alright...I would think that if they are DOT legal then they would be at least safe to put on your car...now as for durability and traction, they might not be the greatest. The tread pattern looks fairly aggressive with the decently large rubber patches nearest the sidewall; that should give you ok lateral grip. As for overall contact, it looks like the center strip offers a fair amount of grip but everything else could stand to have more rubber actually contacting the ground. All in all looks to be a decent performance tire but might not give you the life that a michelin or such would.

looks good for the price
notice that they are made by falkin.. check there web site and see what the rating is for them. it may be just fine as a tire. tread looks good. from my experiance the cheaper the tire the less they put in the side wall and bead construction and the rubber compounds are usally a softer grade rubber that does wear faster than a name brand tire. the price is very good though so wear may not be a factor for a z rated tire. i may suggest you look at a lower speed rating to save even more money. as z rating is well over 100 mph i doubt many of us would run those speeds long enough to need a z rating.
just as a side note watch out for sticky tires. i have seen a goodyear z eagle that was stickey traed and those thing wear super fast.
