Hey all, I am familiar with TPI motors and set-up, a friend is converting his v6 firebird and is set on a carbed induction.

My plan is to buy a L-98 shortblock, put $500 vortec heads, $145 performer vortec intake, and a $135 ZZ4 cam. It has to be done cheap, but i was wondering about the cam. The ZZ4 is cheap on ebay, and has .510 lift on the exhaust which is as much as I can use on the vortec's, the LT-4 hotcam is also cheap,and close to teh same specs, what would you reccommend?

Also does anybody have a 350 shortblock for sale in the new england area? I would like a roller one piece, but a two piece rear main would be ok also. Thanks.
