That thing sounds evil, man. That ZZX is a killer stick. I have just ordered a TPIS 700-701 mech. roller stick for my Mini Ram 383 project which should be here by Friday.
I still have quite a way to go before mine's finished, but your sound clip may just get me through until it is!

Thanks for the compliments guys.... I can't wait to get the Y-pipe fabbed up later this week so I can re-enable closed loop and put some tuning on this thing. With the O2 so close to the end of the collector of the header it thinks it is pretty lean and starts pouring the fuel on pretty voraciously if I let it have closed loop.... The tune is pretty rough right now so I haven't really driven it at all.... Just did the initial 1/2 hour run and first oil change. Plus it is pretty much too loud for all but the bare minimum of driving around.
Yes that is a Miniram on the 383. I polished the fuel rails a bit (nothing really serious but they look OK) and painted it with bright red engine paint (should have powdercoated - I know, but paint is cheap). I bought the Miniram off of a TGO user through the classified boards here. It is a Miniram I and came with the fuel rails and regulator. I built my own 6AN lines that come off the hard lines and feed the Miniram. I had to cut off and flare the existing hard lines with 6AN and 4AN (return side, adapted to 6AN for the flex line) tubing nut fittings to make it all work.... That was a lot of fun

There is basically no limit to the size cam you can run with EFI if you have the proper equipment.
I have a speed density system like the one used in 91-92 thirdgens running my engine but there are MAF cars with plenty radical engines in them as well. It can be done.
I would suggest reading up on the basics of tuning PROMs on the DIY PROM board on this site if you would like to tune yoru own car or just call up an aftermarket tuner such as TPIS or Ed Wright and find out from them what a PROM runs and what their limitations are on what kind of setup you can run if you aren't interested in/able to do your own tuning.

Thanks again folks
Those valvecovers are the cheapy tall Summit brand polished AL ones.... Like $60 or so from Summit. But they are perimeter bolt pattern as that is what my Brodix heads are.
Burnin rubber will be a while.... Well at least a few weeks as I need to get the Y-pipe fabbed up (heading in tomorrow to start that at a local shop), tune it, and break it in the rest of the way...
