Whats with injector prices?

I have an 88 IROC, 305 TPI.
I checked on injector prices at Shucks and was told that Bosch injectors were $94 dollars each or after tax over $800 a set.

I checked the net and found Accel's for $225 a set and Five O Motorsports has new 21 lb Ford/Bosch crate motor take outs for $188.

Is there something wrong with the Accel injectors?

Will the 21 lb Ford/Bosch injectors work?

Why do the injectors at Shucks cost 4 times more?

Thanks
Ken

I've wondered the exact same thing. I'm going to piggyback of your thread so I can get notified when responses come in.

What's even more strange is that SLP has a set of 25's for $99. That's right, brand new for $99. I have a 305 as well so I think these are out of the question.

The next best bet is fiveomotorsports BUT, i've emailed their techs twice: They insist that my 305 (89) has 21ibs injectors and that only 85-86 have 19's. I've never heard of this before. They sell the 21's on ebay for 168.00 but I'm not conviced on which way to go. I am planning to go with a crate motor of some kind in the next year or so but in the meantime, I don't want my car to run like crap with the extra fuel...

Funny then how my 88 had 19lb injectors and my 92 had 19# injectors.
