Fuel Pump Relay and Fuse

Can anyone tell me where to find the fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse on my 1992 camaro Z28 with 305 TPI? My car died and since the fuel was pretty low I assumed I had run out of gas. I put a couple gallons in and expected the car to start right up, not. It started, but idled rough and finally died. I thought I may have sucked gunk from the bottom of the tank and plugged the fuel filter, so I changed that, nothing. The car turns over and I have spark, but it will not start. The fuel pump is inside the gas tank and repairs will cost several hundred dollars if the pump is bad. I am hoping I have a bad fuse or relay but cannot find either one. Help!!!

Fuel pump fuse is in the fuse block under the dash at drivers left knee. Not entirely sure about the location of the fuel pump relay, but I believe that it is located in the engine compartment on the driver side firewall. Rectangular unit with a rectangular connector with five wires.

Gary,

Welcome Aboard!

Unless your IROC is an odd one, the fuel pump fuse should be located along the right inner fender rail:

The relay is likely mounted to the left side of the firewall:

if you want to test the pump directly, assuming it isnt shorted out internally and blowing fuses, you can hook a +12V sorce up to the grey lead in the connector for the FP relay. This will supply the pump directly with power.

EDIT: The one that leads to the fuel pump is the furthest most wire from the red one that supplies the relay with +12 volts.
