For the life of me I can't find this old post anywhere on the site and it wasn't that long ago. Somebody asked about whether ot rebuild his 305 or rebuild a 350 and swap it. Someone else recommended an place in Indiana that sells salvaged vette engines - i remember that the engines go for around $500 and the engine plus 700R-4 for about $700. Who said this? I live in Indiana and I'd like to know the name of this place so I can place an order! hehe - thanks a lot for the info. I put this on the motor swap board but no one answered...

You'll need to call to find out what his current inventory is, and to get current prices.

Also, I recommend to both you fellas to get a copy of Corvette and Chevy Trader. This rag is full of Corvette recyclers all over the U.S.

Many sell take-outs from late model wrecks - but they're all "buyer beware" units - so be careful.
