I've searched and even bought an 88 Chevrolet factory manual and haven't been able to find the info I'm looking for.

What heads (casting number) should be on my (88) IROC 305 TPI engine? Are there marks on the outside of the head that I should look for?

Do center bolt heads flow any different than non center bolt TPI heads?

Where can I find flow data for an (1988) 305 TPI center bolt head?

Am I correct in believeing that the chambers are 58cc and valves are 1.84"/1.50"

No, open the valve covers and look at the casting numbers stamped.


If they do...it is negligible...meaning little difference if any at all.



Do some searches on this board, and other normal search engines. I have some flow numbers of some mildly ported 416 heads, which are the same as the 081 heads basically. I will post them later if you can't find anything.
