Finally, after going 7 months of non-3rdgen owning despair, I just bought an '83Z w/ L69. I already have a full exhaust setup for it, and want to add some mods. What do you think I would gain off stock engine (maybe switch to a better intake) w/ stamped, non-roller 1.6:1 rockers? Would they be worth the $50?

I also have a B&M street/strip 700R4 and 2000rpm converter to install in her. Any opinions on ET's?

 

befor you try to jam more air into the chambers, put an intake on, this putting 1.6 rocker and stock intake i dont think you would feel a diff

The L69 in the early year Camaros is a great
combination of parts. Gut the cat(which is very easy because of bolts), tweek the secondary air valve(see tech articles) and you have a 14 sec car. Look at my signature for additional ideas and potential ET....
